Kids for Kids international aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of child labor. We intend to fund projects in impoverished countries, effectively reducing the chances of child labor. We intend to raise awareness about children slavery in its worst forms such as in situations where children are forced to beg on behalf on marabouts in Senegal, or forced by personal circumstances to go down in dangerous coltan mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo, or forced to work impossibly long hours making garments or bricks in Asia.
We intend to support projects that build wells in countries like Niger and South Sudan so that children do not need to walk several miles and miss out on their education, and projects that raise awareness about child labour as a whole.

Why this objective matters
The objective of the organization matters because child labour is harmful to the long-term development of children worldwide. According to the United Nations International Labor Organization nearly 170 million children are deprived of basic education due to child labour. Additionally, from a report from the United Nations Children’s Fund, 160 million children are currently in child labor.
We believe this objective matters to ensure that child labour is not only a global problem, but we also want to inspire others to “say no to child labour.”
